In Conversation With Sex Workers is a 5 part video series by director Erika Lust. Jordan and I thought that these videos convey important information, give insight into the lives of others within the sex industry, and perhaps, we hope, they would be educational to those outside of the industry.
Each week I will be adding another part of Erika Lust’s In Conversation with Sex Workers. I encourage you to view other amazing videos she has directed through her Youtube channel, or to learn more about her, please visit her website.
“In Conversation With Sex Workers” is a five-part documentary directed by Erika Lust. Chapter 2 is dedicated to the social stigmas that sex workers must face every day, from their inner, most intimate circles, to the general assumptions society makes about their lives.
Chapter 3 focuses on the relationship between sex workers and clients, and how that relationship changes on each type of sex work.
On Chapter 4 Maria Riot and Dante Dionys shed a light on the dangers that criminalization and persecution imply for sex workers, and they explain why it’s so important for sex workers to be connected and in communication with one another.
